Student Opportunities are subject to a short review process to ensure all opportunities are applicable to pre-health students. Once reviewed, opportunities are then posted to the listing. Name of Opportunity:  Tufts Pre-Med Ignite - Opportunity for Students Interested in Healthcare Careers

Description:  

Are your undergraduate students grappling with questions like: 

• Which path best fits my interests and vision for the future?
• What does clinical training actually look like?
• How do I know if I am preparing in the right way?
 
Tufts Pre-Med Ignite is a program designed for undergraduate students (rising sophomores and juniors) who are exploring careers in healthcare. The program provides structured exposure to clinical education, hands-on learning experiences, and individualized coaching from Tufts University School of Medicine faculty.
 
Students in the program:
• Participate in clinical case simulations in Tufts’ Clinical Skills and Simulation Center
• Explore animal organ dissections and animal/human comparative anatomy in the Advanced Anatomy Lab
• Learn about multiple healthcare pathways including MD, Physician Assistant, Dentistry, and other clinical roles
• Receive 4-6 one-on-one coaching sessions over the following year
