About NAAHP, Inc.

What is NAAHP?

The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP) is an inclusive, interprofessional community committed to promoting the professional growth of our members and partners as they develop the next generation of healthcare providers.

Founded in 1974, NAAHP was established to unify the efforts of health professions advisors across the nation and abroad. Our focus on professional development, leadership, and partnerships has enabled us to grow into the premier organization that educates and trains our members and partners to support pre-health student success.

NAAHP serves as a vital national resource, offering a platform for advisors to access and share information about various health professions, represented by twenty health professional association partners from Allopathic Medicine to Veterinary Medicine.

We foster strong partnerships with health professions schools and their organizations through advisor liaisons and an Advisory Council composed of representatives from these entities.

NAAHP encourages members to share their experiences and knowledge, providing a nationally recognized forum for advisors to express their views and contribute to the field through our quarterly publication, The Advisor.
