    Job Description:
    Admissions Advising and Processing
    • Coordinate Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) file review and invitation to interview process.
    • Ensure incoming students are accurately entered into the Student Information System. Act as a liaison to the Registrar’s Office.
    • Finalize and approve content for the prerequisite equivalency guide. Work with the SPHS Admissions team and Graduate Assistants to ensure equivalency guide is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Review transcripts, course descriptions, and related documents to determine alignment with prerequisite requirements.
    • Evaluate personal statements, letters of recommendation, professional experience, other application components, and perform GPA calculations.
    • Demonstrate superior customer service and accuracy while conducting one-on-one appointments with prospective students.
    • Work as part of the SPHS Admissions team to effectively execute interview days.

    Recruitment
    • Conduct recruitment presentations and attend Graduate/Career Fairs as assigned.
    • Follow-up with students from recruitment events.
    • Provide campus tours to prospective students • Make phone calls and participate in other outreach to support recruitment efforts.
    • Plan and execute virtual sessions with prospective or incoming students.
    • Assist with Visit Days and other on-campus events.

    Other
    • Represent SPHS Admissions in the absence of the Associate Director.
    • Work closely with the Associate Director to assess current procedures. Work with Associate Director in implementing new policies and procedures for current and new SPHS programs.
    • Manage SPHS Admissions Graduate Assistants, including providing initial and ongoing training.
    • Work on special projects as assigned by the SPHS Associate Director of Admissions. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of job-related experience, preferably in the area of recruitment and/or admissions in higher education.
